Custom Head gasket

I remember reading here somewhere about custom head gaskets
being made out of copper --along with custom thickness for
reduced compression. Anyone got a contact #

is sold through Jeg's, Summit, etc. Try Milodon on their websites too as they make solid copper gaskets too.

I'll check those spots out--it's for a buddies BMW that had the head shaved 20 tho--with the OEM gasket I'm afraid it'll bring the comp up to around 12 to 1--not good on todays gas.

FWIW, I had to whack the head....

of my six cylinder four valve Jag to remove a partial witness mark around two cylinders. The head bolts had been over-torqued and the fire rings cut into the head. The gasket blew. We had to take 30 thou off. It just made it a little more necessary to use premium gas.
