Calendar report

First, thanks to everyone that sent me a photo.

Every year is seems like I'm rushed while I create the calendar. This report is an attempt to get started on the 2010 calendar by getting better photos early.

For each vehicle - and I'd love to have a boat or whatever, not just cars & trucks - I need several shots such as outside, interior and of course the engine. One photo isn't enough.

All photos should be with uncluttered backgrounds. I won't use a photo where there is another car in the photo (unless it's on the track and the other car can't be cropped out). Show cars at shows usually have other cars in the photo so I don't consider them.

Trees growing out of the top, busy backgrounds and cluttered fore grounds won't be used by me. Also I got a number of photos with glare that wiped out a lot of the car.

Wheels stands are a favorite of mine but I didn't get many this year.

I try to include a wide selection of the cars. Drag cars, wagons, boats or anything unusual have a edge. I'd love to have an FT engined truck but I want a clean engine compartment.

I would consider favorably a customers car and include credit to one of our vendors. Barry, Mark and Blair this was for you, but other lesser know builders or body shops should submit something if they want.

I had trouble getting useable photos off on web sites.
