stashing the 62 for the winter and this is my first year with solids. I was wondering if I should back off all the adjusters or unbolt the rocker arm assemblies? seems like taking the rocker assemblies off would make for a quicker job come spring time. or is this even nessecary? im running around 310 for spring press and stock setup with endstands. thanks

I always just loosen the assy as when you re-torque in the spring, the valves will still be like they were.

Are They Factory Adjustable Rockers?

If you are using the factory adjustable rocker arms do not back the adjusters off. That is an interference fit so it holds an adjustment. The more the adjuster threads are turned in & out the less interference there is and you will be constantly adjusting the valves. ww

crane style i belive with the locknut. figured just loosening the whole assy would be simpler, just as you said everything would remain the same and just require a check and maybe minor adjustment. thanks

This is somewhat the same....

as the regular question about leaving firearm magazines filled with cartridges. Some people carry spare magazines for their sidearms. I know of a test that was undertaken by carefully measuring spring pressure in a group of loaded magazines and then putting them away. A year later, there was no measurable difference in spring pressure.

I don't worry about valvesprings.
