I always hate it when they try to compare todays prices to 1966 dollars but in this case that's about what a new Mustang GT cost 20 years and is a much better car.

Mustang prices

A friend bought a loaded to the gunwails 87 LX 5.0 Convert for $16k, 5.0 coupes were about $12k. So about $7k worth of cheaper dollars in 21 years.
Of course you could buy a nice 68 for $4k 40 years ago.
Ron.

2008 Mustangs??

These Mustangs were going to be Saleens, but from what I understand Saleen is out of business so Ford asked Galpin if they would take them and they would give them an aditional rebate on these cars.

Saleen

I've heard that too, though their website is still hawking new cars.

Maybe time to sit on Santas knee and ask nicely for one of these while they still have them?
