carter fuel pump rebuild

I have an used FE Carter fuel pump and I would like to rebuild it before I fire up my new engine. The pump has the 6 screws holding the body together and has 1/4 NPT inlets and outlets--this is the generic performance FE fuel pump that carter has been selling for a long time. I have not been able to find a rebuild kit for the generic pump, but I recently ran across a rebuild kit by AMK for the carter pumps installed on 428CJ's boss 302's, etc.

The diagram has the 6 screw holes and the pics in the article look just like my pump...Does anyone know whether this kit will fit the aftermarket carter pumps or if there is some fundamental difference between the factory installed carters and the aftermarket ones?

There is no difference between the OEM pumps and the current replacement pumps as far as the rebuild kits.
