This is an open invition to anyone that want's to visit, perhaps watch some videos and meet FE forum members.

Dedom is in town, nice chance to meet a forum member from across country, who is building what looks like a neat car. We'll get some food going for supper, and adult beverages are welcome. If Rory, Dale, Barry, Dee and Tom show up it's a good time for technical opinions or parts numbers questions, don't let these guy's modesty fool you, some of them know how to make FE's stand a car on end. Jim G and wife, I realize you are busy, but it would be great if you could make it. Once again, wives are welcome.

I don't have much hardware to show but we can do some good BS'ing and talk about some of the good runs we saw at Mission this year. Dale if you want to bring that block along, I'm sure that would be good for debate; we can help you carry it into the living room.

Forcast is 40% chance of rain, however if someone wants to bring their car(s) that would be grand. Show up when ever you can, I'll be home in the afternoon, and expect to see guys from about 3-4:00pm till about 11:00.

Right on Dedom!!!!

November 27 2008, 11:04 AM

Man that would be cool to soak up some suds and BS! Man I would hope too do that. I feel that time is slipping from me and I don't have control of it LOL.

I think of the time that I got to spend with Bob Bardell before he pasted away. I was very thankful to do so and will never forget my time with him. Even though it was short. He keep up with the poor mans as well. I'm sure he would of like to have seen the outcome of that! Sorry of the rabble on.....

I hope to Dedom! You take care and enjoy the beer out here in the Northwest because there is nothing that comes close! See ya

November 27 2008, 10:34 AM

as she sits now, less whatever Rusty and crew have done while I've been out here.

I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone. Gary, thank you and Patty for putting up with an old fart like me, lol. I do love talking FE.

Friday I'll be meeting up with Jim in Roy, WA and I'm looking forward to seeing his Fairlane. This is truly a great bunch of FE people as you will ever find.

Happy thanksgiving all.

Wes, here is an offer you can't refuse.

November 27 2008, 1:59 PM

I'll be back out here over Christmass. No excuses, lets get together then, I'm only 20 minutes from Everet and can pick you up. We could sit down and remember Mayhem Bob and have a good laugh or two over a few bruskies, sorry No Shiners.

Seriously though, there is a....thing.....that I'm desperately trying to avoid that would allow me to get to your place.
I'll check the prevailing winds on Saturday and see if they are favourable!

I`ll be there, Gary.

November 28 2008, 11:17 AM

I can bring some photo albums, DVD`s, VHS video tapes, and if you still have your 8mm projector, I will see if I can find those 1966 Northwest drag racing "home movies" again, that my cousin gave me. Hopefully some more local or semi local FE`ers can attend.

'Twas a good time

November 30 2008, 11:41 AM

Anyone back here on page 2 wondering what happened, Rory and Dedom showed up, and a LOT of pictures were looked at, a few videos watched and good information swaped. The food, drink, and story-swapping went from about 3:00 till midnight, felt like we were cutting it a bit short even though it was past bedtime.

What we lacked in quantity was made up for in quality.

Thanks for a great time gentlemen.

Gary B
