It's on HBO,I was genuinely surprised seeing such "red necks" elsewhere in the country

Being in the south I thought we had a monopoly on that stuff. Our local race tracks have shut down like crazy...The combo dirt track & 1/8th mile dragstrip closing we could live with but the 1/2 mile asphault circle track knocked off a favorite pass time for the Ms and I. Even though #3 is no longer around he lives through his fans as demo'd in the show.
It takes all kinds to make a world and at least these folks are out front in their actions and attitudes. The ones you need to worry about are the sneaky shits that hide in the dark and don't show their cards till it's too late!
And I wouldn't be so quick to judge people based on some slick HBO production that was made to portray a specific group of people in a way someone thought they should be.
Having said that I doubt any of those dudes will be landing a NASCAR Ride!! But I do hope they can find a job. jmo. ww
Your right-on on the way Americas shutting down making anything. Watched "The War" WW2 on PBS and was shocked at the way we could buckle down and build War Machines. We'd be hard pressed to make much of anything if ever the shit-hit-the-fan today.
