I can't find an application for this. I did a search on Google and found that this might be for a Y block 292 (not really sure what that is), but that was the only reference that came up. This distributor has a little hole on the side with a little metal door for oiling...?

This actually came installed in a fresh 428 I bought.

I think the seller just stuck it in to plug the hole. Maybe it was just laying around his garage...I don't know. It also came with a carburetor that was 1/2 complete, so this motor has not been run with these components.

I just wanted to try and figure out what this is for--maybe it is correct for something and someone can use it.
