I have a 67 Fairlane factory superstock car that came through Holman and Moody and raced as a SS/CA. The original heads were SK with intake port size of 2.125 tall by 1.380 wide. The original intake was a single 4 barrel sidewinder. At different points in it's racing career the intake was swapped over to a dual 4 barrel setup and then back again. The intake it runs with now is a single 4 barrel C-6AE9424-J which has smaller ports of 2" tall by 1.180 wide. Does anyone know what intakes were originally used on the very few 427 factory super stockers with SK heads?

I have one , I bought it for a project that has had some set-backs and never really got off the ground . I paid around $1500.00 for it maybe a bit more ( I cant honestly remember ) . It has a crack on the underside that does not affect anything . It is at the back and is not near the runners and not visable when installed , it might be a casting flaw and not a crack. I was planning on getting it fixed if I was to use it , but can be run as is . It is an original Ford manifold , but the bottom tin plate has been chromed . I was going to beadblast it and paint it cause Iam not a big fan of chrome . I would sell for $1500 plus shipping . Which H/M Fairlane do you have ?
my tw manifold has no casting numbers or date stamping, however it does have a faint XE number and ford oval stamped in the steel pan bolted to the bottom of the manifold. also , the cylinder numbers in the runners are upside down.
any info or ideas.....
