November 19 2008, 8:42 PM

Just wanted to check out the automaticc4 c6 forum, but cant access it for some reason.I have a low riser 8v that im camming up to 560 or 600 lift, and want to know what stall torqueconverter to use. im thinking about using a 4500 or 4800 stall.4800# truck, want max 1/4 mile performance.any suggestions?or,should i go with something higher, like5500?

p s IUSED TO RACE A COBRA TORINO STICK 4 SPD, SO THIS IS FOREIGN TO ME USING A C6.

Lift has nothing to do with stall...

first of all.

Second, what year and style(2wd/ 4WD)of truck?

You're looking at ungodly amounts of stall for an extremely mild cam, Maybe a Saturday Night Special from TCI, but again you need to be waaaaaay more specific on the cam specs. Lift means jack.

stall has to work with cam and engine power band .... I am probably not the guy to ask on stall speed , my street car with C-6 has a 5000 converter happy.gif

It is the settings on your computer. Your antivirus, firewall ect. After your last post, I tried it and had no problems. Just a thought. John

Try again sometime today

November 20 2008, 4:19 AM

I added an IP address to the blocked list on Sunday. Maybe someone using your computer was posting the inappropriate messages that led me to block that IP address. I reinstated that IP so if your account works today than maybe a talk at home is in order. If this does not fix it try posting from another computer if you can and see how that works.
