'66 Galaxie Motor mount question

I took my Galaxie apart over two years ago. Today I can't get the motor mounts to line up correctly.

First, they don't even get close unless one of them is upside down, i.e., one of them uses the top two holes and the other uses the bottom two holes (both with a third bolt).

Second, when one side drops into the frame bracket, the other side lines up in top of the bracket.

Any ideas? This should be trival not fustrating.

Of course the long tube cast iron headers make this a real pain to work on.

Thanks,

Bob

I think these are oriented correctly left to right, the center of the photo id the back edge of the mounts and with the top of the mounts at the top. I'll install them tomorrow and find out.
