Motor Mounts

November 17 2008, 8:20 AM

The motor in my 69 Mach sits really low with standard motor mounts and the header bolts hit on both shock towers. I was thinking about giving these a try. I don't know if anyone else on the forum is using these........

I have those mounts for my Mustang

November 17 2008, 2:35 PM

the engine is not in it yet so I can't tell you how they work, but hey, they look good.
I also didn't have any mounts at all so I went for a one stop shop.

As for solid Mustang mounts just use the old ones you have...

Bend the tabs down against the plate that is around the rubber and weld the two steel pieces together.Makes a heck of a lot of smoke when the rubber lights up but it's easy to do,and cheap!Even works on broken mounts.
