I am rebuilding the C6 from my 68 Mustang GT 390. I am at the part where I replace the front planet. The instructions say there is a nylon thrust washer that goes there. Mine either didn't have it or I misplaced it. There is not one in the rebuild kit. I only got the basic one as the clutches and bands were fine.
Where do I get this washer? Is it available outside of a kit? Is it available as a generic piece as long as I match i.d, o.d, and thickness? It has three tabs to hold it in place.
I'm at home so I don't have the numbers handy .... but Capitol Core will have them , Transtar will have them (google).... Ford may have them , they are available seperatly , I might even have some at the shop if your not in a big hurry
