"Black Hornet" is a tribute to the "Green Hornet"

Per the writeup -

"The "Black Hornet" is an accurate reproduction of the "Green Hornet" built from a 1968 Ford Mustang and painted "Stetson Black" in honor of Shelby's preferred choice of headgear. Aside from the color, the "Black Hornet" is an exact replica of the "Green Hornet" after it received four-wheel disc brakes but before the fuel injection or independent rear suspension."

I understood that someone was reproducing the independent rear suspension somewhere, but they probably voted to avoid the extra complications by sticking with standard setup and more quickly/easily bring in the cash. It's a bit pricey, but at least it's slated to go to a worthy cause.

Regardless, Triple-Black makes for a beautiful car...
