I've asked this before but the responses have been vague to say the least. Yep you can do it, Not a pain, Feasible...yada yada.. I'm looking for a more precise answer.. time and $ wise from someone who has done it. How hard is it ? whats involcved, and what can I expect to spend ? and what options are there for this bastardization ?

TIA!! Bobby with his nose to ther ground!! And smelling the future no matter who the commander and chief is wink.gif

Yes it can be done but it's a lot of work to make it safely usable.

Look out, you may find out that....

the govmint knows someone who 'needs' that boat more than you do. To install an FE you need to be able to weld and cut or have a very good friend with a lot of free time. It's do-able. (I knew a guy, years ago, who put an Allison in a '29 sedan.) It'll take a lot of work.
