It is a great set up for someone who is looking for a little more stiffness in their chassis. However, I would seriously doubt that NHRA would ever certify a cage like that legal for use. He said that the clamps resist up to 600 ft lbs before turning. A serious crash has far more force than that. I wouldn't trust it to save my life if necessary. At any rate its still a cool idea for a street car.

I saw that at SEMA. The fittings sticking out would almost assure death if you ever hit your head on 'em in a crash. They'd break a helmet too in case the track let you past tech with it. The metal headrests are another bizzare idea.

There were lots of web TV filmers there.
