until the landing. That bounce is just plain cartoonish. It's clearly fake, but kudos to the creator.

Also, the physicist in me just cringes. When the plane goes into a "death spin" it's rotating the wrong direction. The side with the remaining wing would still generate lift, causing the airplane to turn the other way. Just before the landing, you can see that the control surfaces are turned in the wrong direction. The way they're shown, the plane would roll over on its back.

Cool vid though. I suspect that with the loads of power and huge control surfaces those planes have, a skilled pilot might actually survive such a failure, but probably not by landing wheels down with zero additional damage to the plane. Best bet would be to put it in a stall, since those stunt planes have more than 1:1 thrust-weight ratio.
