help: intake gasket

getting ready to start a fresh rebuilt 428, I didn't put any silcone around the water jackets with felpro gaskets...was this a mistake?

It was a felpro with the blue stripe that goes around the port

I never had problems with those. Just make sure you tighten up your Aluminum intake from time to time. You will be just fine! JMO

Intake gasket sealing with silicone...

...around the water jackets is like having insurance. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
