I'm in need of 1 for my 65' gal tl and not sure whats avalible, is hurst my only option other than stock? I've heard they stopped making the mounting plate, is that true? and if so how hard will that be to find.
I thought I had a stock shifter but it's for a mustang and others with rear mount on tailhousing, the rods are to long and handle bent wrong, to bad cause the handle is spotless and complete.
If anyone knows of any options let me know please.
Thanks Donnie

Donnie, I got one about 3 years ago from Mark Hammond at Toploader Heaven. Mark takes a Hurst Comp Plus and fabricates his own mounting hardware and rods. Really slick unit, already fit up for a Galaxie. I got his name from the shifter expert Bill Healey (Olney Md.) Perhaps Mark or Bill could hook you up with one. Charlie
