headers revisited

I know we have talked about this before and I did a seach but didn't come up with any good info for my application.
I have a '63 Galaxie with a just finished 445 cu.in. 500 h.p. stroker 390.
I'm using edelbrock aluminum heads with about 10.8 comp. pistons. I'm also using a 9 qt. T oil pan. This car has a toploader 4 speed with 4:71 posi rear.
The car will see mainly drag strip use except for short (20-25) trips in town.
What would be the best header set-up for this combo?? Don't forget the "T" oil pan because of clearence issues. I have been looking at Hooker Super Comps. Does anyone else offer a comparable header for the price and application??
Thanks in advance...Andy.

The Super Comps will require cutting the inner fender to allow the #3 and #4 tubes......

......to wrap around the frame. There is a tube on the driver's side that also wraps around the frame, but no cutting is needed. As to fitting around a T-pan, it should clear (completely guessing here, LOL). IMO, a T-pan on a Galaxie isn't needed and it just doesn't look right, just my opinion and I'm guessin' you already own the pan, Rod. BTW, the only other headers I've run on my Galaxies were Doug Thorley (in 69) and OK Kustom, they definitely won't fit with a T-pan (in 76). I wish I could find a set of the OK Kustoms for my LWG, LOL.

Thanks Rod

Looks like I'll be cutting a inner fender panel to make 'em fit. Yeah, I already have the 't' pan installed. I thought a couple more quarts of oil would be good insurance for the engine.
