Response to Build sheet

Sounds like a very neat car. THe 66 Cyclone is my favorite muscle car body.

What is the color combo?

In 1966 the Cyclone convert was a indy pace car. I have a lot of info on these cars and will see what I can dig up.

to other person on DSO

Mercury had different DSO's than Ford did and 52 is LA as was Phoenix back then.

Yes, pics please!

Mercury did offer a functional over the counter Ram Air Hood.

The standard scooped hood was not functional. Optional on 66 CYclone but std on Cyclone GT.

Is it a auto or 4spd? 4spd air cars were extremely rare.

Some 66 Cyclone 2dr hd top drag intended cars had a weight in back end like a convert. Does your car have them? For sure an over the counter option or dealer add on with a Ford Part number.

Because the 66-67 comet cyclones were 7" longer (behind wheels) they had better weight transfer than the Fairlane cousin's especially if equipped with the added weight canisters as they hung on frame just in front of rear bumper.
