Response to Garage question: moisture and heat

If the car is colder than the air, water will condense on it. Try putting down a plastic sheet as a vapor barrier topped by 1/2 inch plywood to keep the moisture off the bottom of the car. I've forund that a simple car cover will trap the cold air and keep the top of the car dry.
Of course if you want to work on the car, heat the garage up first with a propane or kerosene heater. If you run the engine for 15 minutes, it should keep the temperature up in you garage for a few hours at least.
