Years ago I had a 60 Starliner that I raised by putting in the front coils springs from a 57 Olds, they had 2 more coils that the Ford. Took a few hours to get the first spring in and about a half hour to do the second. In the rear I got a set of 57 Olds leaf springs and mated the Ford and Olds springs, they matched or mismatched like a factory spring. The car sat up high and level. Coil springs came from the junk yard and the rear springs came from the neighbors 57 Olds he was parting out. He put the J2 in his 55 F100.
