I bought a fiberglass hood for my Fairmont many years ago, but never installed it, it was onlt about 7 lbs lighter than my stock steel hood, and that bit of weight just didn`t seem to be worth the agravation to switch. However, the hood did seem to be very well made, nice crisp lines a edges. After having it sit in my garage for about 20 years, I sold it, and the guy that bought it was very happy with it`s fit and overall quality.
