I've always used original gaskets, usually use high tack to glue them in place, let them set over night, ad a thin layer of silly to the top, put the intake on, never had a problem until my vac pump engine. 15 vac pulled the end gasket in had to spot repair with silly. I've alway avoided straight silly because of the potential of "buggers" getting loose inside the engine, but I may have to rethink my procedure, RWJ
