Those look like the elephant foot swivels on a Porsche

The original Porsche ones are ductile becuase of the swivel foot design. Other companies that make them (In China) mistakenly believe that hard steel is better. The problem is brittleness. The swivelfoot adjuster has gotten a bad rap because of these failures on VWs. The original 911 Porsche 8mm adjuster held up for me on the bikes.
