The car is Brian's and this is what I know about the car.
That picture is May 1968 with a 7 inch slick this car was the fastest of any 427 Fairlane out there at that time in AHRA it was the F1A/S and F1C/S national record holder in AHRA I have some copies of the records singed by (Pappy)CJHart at Lyons Dragstrip this car ran into the high 10.90s!!! at that time. If ya look in the back round there are guys standing back there this is a black & white picture withe car colored in and the letter of recognition National record in the back round. This car was faster than anything in NHRA, one of the hard running NHRA car was Don McCain's Desert Motors car of Mel Burns and them. My car sold at Mel Burns was campaigned by Owner Robert Ferguson Driven by Steve Graves. This car was 2-3 tenths faster than the NHRA McCain car. Its the real deal for sure and certain
