I too, have a sleeved block! All 8 holes got the treatment! Done the same way that the "Poor Man"s 427" project was done! I agree, it depends on a lot of factors: i.e. cost, rarity of block, quality of sleeve, your machinist, and their technique of removal and installation of the new sleeves, sleeve wall thickness, and cylinder spacing between adjacent cylinders, just to name a few!! How bad do you really need/want a particular block? Done correctly, no one will ever know, especially when all they can see is your tail lights, "going out of sight!!" I hope this helps! Dean |
