Got a bellhousing question--I am putting a t-5 behind an FE engine--I know I know it will never last! Anyway I got an adapter thru mustang supply house--bolted up fine. I thought I understood the big block.small block tranny situation and maybe I do but I guess my bellhousing is a truck housing which seems to be about 1/2 inch deeper than my car bellhousings.Input shafts are that about the same 1/2 inch difference--why doesnt that negate the need to shorten the input by that same 1/2 inch???-Of course I will mock it all up and double check measurements. Seems I recall some-one saying DO NOT run a truck bellhousing--is there a reason I am missing not to run a truck bellhousing??
