Response to Hot starting problem

I had a troublesome, hot start problem with my side oiler, Mustang. Also stumbling in stop & go traffic. Finally figured it out. The heat radiated from the Super Comp headers was boiling the fuel within the carb bowls.
Somewhat solved the problem by adding 1-inch phenolic spacers, ceramic coating the headers and changing the fan blade. I HATE clutch fans! Installed a fixed pitch blade used on short track, modifieds. Get as much air flow under the hood as you can. May even consider an electric fan to run during cool down while parked.
