There are several cars in our Cobra club with powder coated intakes and have had no problems save for the gasket areas. I am building a new FE for mine and I will powder coat it myself. Powder coat is baked at 350 to 400 degrees and our engines do not get that hot. The Jet Hot or Ceramic coating will work just great. I just do not have the equipment to do ceramic coating.
