Response to are there gear timming sets for fe's

There's a Milodon setup for 429-460 that also fits the FE- solid plate setup that requires 2 holes drilled & tapped near the main cap for the lower mounting bolts- pretty solid setup, a lot better than the floating idler types. I have 4, and love 'em- some don't. Tradeoff between the touch of extra parasitic power it takes to turn it compared to a chain, but the gears don't stretch and change the timing. If I was running in a class and needed every advantage, no way I'd run one- but brackets and street, I like 'em, if the car's already loud- they do make a bit of racket. I remember a guy running a 9-second high-riser in a Mustang that ran back-to-back tests, claimed it cost him .1 second and 2 mph in the quarter to run the gear drive
