If you can get your fingers up between the converter and front pump,

the converter is not in all the way. If so turn, wiggle, as you push on

it till it pops in. There should be a 1/4" between the converter and the

flexplate with the trans up against the engine. Make shure the drainplug

on the converter lines up with the hole for it on the flexplate.

Another thing to help. Get 2 5/8" studs to go in the block to guide the
the trans on. Makes the job a lot more pieasent.
