smooth sailing until the roads turned to black ice just west of Iowa city about 7:30 am. Almost crashed and burned. Pulled off for breakfast for about an hour and then the salt crews had the roads cleaned up. Should have made it a two day trip. Feeling pretty beat up this morning.
