Response to Napa crossed those numbers |
| I have the info although I will have to do a little digging. I don't have the time this morning but will get back to you later. I purchased them through a speed shop (Hawaii Racing in Simi Valley, CA phone# 805-583-8880)which recomended them to use with the aluminum intake. I screwed up the install and had the cork gaskets shift which leaked oil so when I re did the install I just used the metal reinforced gasket I had in the kit. But I noticed the hot air vent was open on the that set. The 1st set was definetly closed. What difference does that make? I'm guessing the hotter the better and quicker the carb atomizes the fuel mix, but sacrifices hp after the engine gets up to temp. I have read where the softer gasket tends to shift or stretch and may fail. I'll post the part number later today. Hope this helps. John |
