Makes you want to say Hmmm... My old 94 nissian sentra got 34 on the short hop and 40mpg  on the freeway. I bought it used for 1200 bucks.  It is fuel injected though. 240 thousand miles on it now. It was my commuter car. Then my sons first car and now it has been past on to a friend as his commuter car. I use to beat the crap out of it too. My son, he treated it nicely. YEAH RIGHT. Two clucthes, a set of axle shafts, and a quart of oil later. It still runs like a raped ape. Its nick name is "the putt putt" LOL!! Great little car.
