Response to 12° advanced?

Although there are undoubtedly more modern cams out there, that one has a big intake lobe and installed late.

If the owner was looking for a cheap way to make tire smoking/weekend cruiser power on the cheap, bringing up vacuum by advancing the cam should help regular driving immensely.

The question is though, and why I asked Werby to gonk it, with so wide of an LSA (so little overlap) how much will it lose on top by cranking the cam forward?

Even though 12 degrees advanced sounds crazy, its all relative, 104 ICL is used all the time on narrower grinds. If it meets his needs, he may need to limit it to 8 degrees advanced based on available timing gears though.

Just thinking on the cheap happy.gif
