Local VW racers use 58mm Webers or something that fits in place of them and they aren't old carbs, look new to me. Gene Berg or maybe Scat (same guys that make FE cranks)
If you look at the Fuel Injection thread from yesterday or a couple days ago you'll see that was how Hilborn made FI intakes for High Risers. Perhaps that makes them a lot more common and nobody really ran Webers on them.
