You can be assured a FE in a Ranger without it being moved back through the firewall will be a tire roaster by weight distribution alone.

The one i had with a light 302 wouldn't go up hills on gravel roads and if parked facing downhill would just skid the rear tires. Really freaky the first time that happened and i'd already locked the doors and crossed the street.
