I've run the two grinds you mention in a 428. I was unimpressed with either of them.
Can you expand on this? I've been looking hard at the xe 274 for a cam to match
a set of aluminum 427mr heads that peak flow at .525-.530 lift. This will probably
be a 428 scj type build for either a 69 mustang or Cobra kit car.(I know cart
before the horse) I'm not worried about the idle sound,(big blocks got it, period)
more about street ability. Thanks, Aaron
