I has a 427 bolted in my Pinto. When the 289 was out i used my Mustang block mounts to fit it straight in place onto the Herbert and Meek frame mounts. The car already had the firewall butchered for the smallblock Lakewood bellhousing so my FE Lakewood fit. The water pump sat where the rad needed to be so you'd have to maybe mount the rad on a bike rack ahead of the bumper. The small detail of weight distribution is another issue. More than 3/4 of the engine is ahead of the spindles. You'd have a 2500lb car with 2000lbs on the front.
