I have seen the name brand carburetors with all their supposed tricks, run on a BB on the Dyno, and then took a box stock Holley the same size, and just checked it over for any obvious defects, and bolted it on the engine, and it made the exact same HP. Made a beliver out of me, and I have been overhauling Holleys since 1969. A blueprinted Holley will perform just as well, in most cases, and for less money. JMO, JOe-JDC.
