My DMV, SD, said they could check it out with a VIN but I never could comeup with one. Then, quite a while ago, I stumbled across it in a local junkyard. 63-1/2 Comet, dark blue with a fake vinyl top. One year I found out my wife and son were going to buy it for me for my birthday. It was in such rough shape that I told them to forget it. About 3 years ago I bought a different 63-1/2 Comet instead and have actually bought some parts from the junk yard from my old car so it is almost the same.
