Does anyone know if any of the later model gear reduction factory ford staters work on the fe - even if they only use two of the tree mounting holes? I do know that one of the smaller starters from a six cylinder fords (170ci I think) will fit and work, but it doesnt have a lot of power and you have to use a big battery and big cables will make it go -- and it'll come out without removing any tubes on Hedman 2 1/8" headers -- this was before gear reduction starters were readily available------ thanks
