You may also wish to use the late model 5.0 roller block, with 289 internals.
The smaller block is high winding and different. This will most probably need alot of gear compression cam and carb to kill a 455. The roller block gives a big selection of cams, and components. Though the thought of bear hunting with a switch comes to mind.
