Response to Titanium retainer damage from spring damper chafing fix ??

Yes - spent a lot of time radiusing the spring ends and damper pieces when I put in titanium retainers. You also have to lube the crap out of them (locks, etc) to help prevent galling. If you were really worried about it, just run moly retainers. I used Ti in my latest 351C because I got "such a deal" on the parts.
