Groove'em

I ran Doves on a .750 lift motor and kept smoking push rods. I put small grooves with a saw and Dremel to put oil out to the ball socket. This stopped the balls burning out. Also, I put some clearance on the back side of the rocker arm push rod socket area. It's a must with high lift cams and Doves or they'll kick the push rod out of the socket. Also I would not restrick oil.I finally cured problem by switching to T@Ds. Good luck.
