Hey Bill, FWIW I read your post from yesterday in regards to the sonic check. You are in Missouri right? I know of an excellent core supplier if you are interested. They are located in old north St.Louis and supply rebuilders nationwide. I have delt with them a few times and have found them to be quite accomodating. They will let you come in and look around and pick what you want. More engines and parts under one roof than you can imagine. No Hi-Po stuff, but a lot of car and heavy duty truck/ industrial. Been a couple of years, but the prices weren't bad either. Sure beats going to the junk yard.I can relate to how frustrated you are, some of these projects can put a person in the nut-house.
