They have had some head gasket problems in the rear of the heads that leak oil externally. I suppose
this could find it's way to a coolant passage. My son also has a '96 GT. A fun car to drive but not
so much power to get a young driver in trouble. Corral Forums has a lot of good info but you have
to sift through it. Steve
