Sad news from Martinique, Charles needs our help with his 427 rebuilds

I have been emailing Charles over the last week, trying to help diagnose some issues, and it doesn't look too good. In addition, I have copied some of the correspondence over to our sister FE forum on Network54, in order to get some real coverage from FE experts on this one.

I am copying some of these exerpts here, to try to get more coverage for Charles, and also to share the information in the event some of the rest of us encounter the same issues.

As you know with boats, if everything always went smoothly, they would have to change the name from "boating" to something else. Trouble just comes with the territory, and unfortunately, our good friend and Chris Craft buddy, Charles, is having some tough times right now.

In posting this, I will say the Network 54 FE forum http://www.network54.com/Forum/74182/ has been a fantastic resource over the years, there are many regulars there who know more about these motors than anywhere else on the planet, earth. As a matter of fact, I was a member of the FE forum years before I decided to start this Chris Craft Commander Forum here, and I was impressed with how the Net54 technology would allow easy posting of photos, etc. Over the years, we've shared a lot of info back and forth.

I have copied some of the highlights here in order to share what I believe is good info to know. Thanks guys, we here on the Commander Forum appreciate the collaboration, and we'll return the favor any time we are able to.

Regards,

Paul
